Peebles-Hendaye Twinning

Welcome to the website dedicated to the twinning activities involving Peebles and Hendaye.

Peebles is a Royal Burgh on the River Tweed in the Scottish Borders and Hendaye is a town in the Pays Basque of France at the foot of the Pyrenees on the Atlantic coast, and the towns have been twinned since 1998.

The website has been developed by the Peebles Hendaye Twinning Association to help publicise the activities and benefits of twinning, and to help visitors learn about our two towns and their history.
