Coffee Morning Success

A very successful Coffee Morning was held on 16 September in the Peebles Ex-servicemen's Club with £400 being raised to support the activities of the Peebles Hendaye Town Twinning Committee.

As you will see in the pictures below, there were stalls for home-baking, bric-a-brac, children's toys, plants, CDs and books.  In addition there was a tombola and a raffle.  A huge thank you to all the individuals and businesses who contributed items.

Images and music from Hendaye were displayed using a computer presentation projected on to the wall and the new Town Twinning web site was also on show.

The Town Twinning Committee wish to thank everyone for their generous support and hope that you will keep in touch with their activities via the web site.  The web site has a forum facility for anyone who would like to add a comment or make suggestions for twinning activities.
