St Vincent Visit to Peebles

Last fall, four Scottish girls came from the Peebles High School and our families hosted them.
During Easter vacation, their families hosted the four of us: Ana, Irune , Alan and Gary.
Our principal, Mrs Lasserre was with us and she met Mr. John Brown, Rector of Peebles High School.
We flew from Bilbao to Edinburgh via London and George Davidson and Noel Dashwood-Brady, members of the Peebles Town Twinning Committee, were waiting for us. They drove us to Peebles where all the families were waiting for us. They were very nice and generous!
We visited the High School which is far bigger than our school and we attended several classes: Music, English, Art and French, of course!
We discovered Traquair House which celebrates its 900th anniversary, then we went to see Neidpath Castle. The next day we went to Edinburgh with our hostesses and we played bowling and went shopping too.
On Friday, we returned to Edinburgh with George Davidson and Mrs. Lasserre to visit the famous castle and also to buy some Scottish presents. In the evening we had dinner at an Italian restaurant called Franco?s. We had great fun!
On departure day George and Gerry Reville, the French teacher drove us to the airport. It was time for us to say goodbye and thank you to our host families for being so nice with us. We were so sad!
